About the artwork

The story of the piece

Stand before it and the everyday dissolves. A teapot, a cup, the fold of a cloth — objects you have passed a thousand times — are taken apart and reassembled not as the eye sees them but as the mind remembers them: the curve of the pot and the circle of its lid in the same breath, the table tilting forward to meet you. This is Cubism's quiet revolution — the discovery that a single fixed viewpoint was only ever one version of the truth.

A work like this rewards attention. It makes a wall worth pausing at and a room worth returning to — not décor to fill a space, but a piece to live with and look up at, gladly, for years.

The making

Craft, and permanence

Each piece is brought into being to order, one at a time, in ArtzFolio's own ateliers in India. Archival pigment inks are laid onto gallery-grade canvas or fine-art cotton paper — colours rated to hold their depth for generations, not seasons. Where you choose a frame, a craftsperson joins a real mitred moulding by hand; where you choose a gallery wrap, the canvas is stretched over solid wood at museum tension. It arrives ready to hang and built to be kept.

Where it belongs

Where it belongs

It belongs in the rooms where people gather and pause — a drawing room above a low console, a dining wall, a study, a considered hospitality space. blue flatters warm woods, brass and natural linen; hang it alone as a single confident gesture, or pair two sizes for the collected feeling of a private gallery.

A real conversation piece

It genuinely looks like an original painting, not a print. The canvas texture and stretching are top class.

Elevated the whole room

People assume it's an expensive gallery original. Archival colours, properly saturated, no banding. Packed extremely well and arrived in 7 days.

A real conversation piece

The colours have a depth that photos simply don't capture. The canvas texture and stretching are top class. Completely transformed the reception. Dispatch was quick and the packaging was genuinely protective.

Better than I imagined

The cubist detail is even richer in person than on screen. Print is razor sharp — no pixelation even up close. Completely transformed the study. Wish there were even more frame finishes, though the one I chose is lovely.

An absolute statement

The colours have a depth that photos simply don't capture. The frame is beautifully mitred and feels premium. It's the first thing every guest notices now. Took a little longer than I expected, but worth the wait.
